Tom is Project Director – Packaging at Smithers, where he provides custom market consultancy for clients across the value chain. Tom is an award winning innovator with 23 years industry experience, initially working in the consumer products sector with Reckitt Benckiser and for the last 15 years in the paper and packaging industries in environmental, market insight and innovation roles with; BillerudKorsnäs, DS Smith and UPM Kymmene. Originally Tom was focused on market and consumer insight and is now focussed on sustainability research including the low carbon and circular economy, and the impact of supply chain changes on the environment.
